Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between my plan and usage costs?
Your plan is a fixed monthly amount for the platform itself. Usage costs are the small amounts for what you actually send or use: emails, WhatsApp conversations and AI. If you don't use something, you don't pay for it either.
How does the credit work exactly?
Just like phone credit. You set once what amount your credit tops up with, say 10 or 25 euros. When the credit drops below a threshold, that amount is added automatically. Nothing ever grinds to a halt and you decide how much is charged each time.
Can I see what my credit is spent on?
Yes, down to the cent. In your account, go to Settings (bottom left) > Billing > Wallet & Transactions. Every charge is listed there with date and item.
How much will I spend on average?
That depends on what you do. A business owner sending a few hundred emails a month and using the AI now and then usually ends up at a few euros. Hover over the i icon in the table to see what 10 euros gets you.
Is there anything on top of the rates in the table?
No. The amounts in the table are what comes off your credit, excl. VAT. No setup fees, no minimum usage, no surcharge afterwards.
I have an AI Employee subscription. Do I still pay for AI usage?
Not with AI Employee Unlimited: Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Content AI are unlimited (within fair use). With AI Employee Pro you have generous monthly limits; go over them and the usage rates in the table apply. Grow and Scale also include 15 or 25 euros of account credit per month, which is used first. Call minutes for Voice AI are always billed separately; you'll find them under Phone number.
What is a 097 number and why not a regular 06 or 085?
A 097 number is a Dutch number that isn't tied to a location or SIM card, but to software. That lets your system call, text and have the AI receptionist answer with it; a regular 06 or 085 number can't do that. You don't have to give up your own number: you forward your 06 to the 097 number, and on outgoing calls we show your own 06 as the caller. Your customers won't notice a thing.
Can I stop the usage costs?
Yes. You can switch off automatic top-up in the same Billing settings. Once your credit runs out, the relevant features pause until you top up again. Your plan simply continues.
